Want to Make Sure Your Heating System Is Property Maintained?
What Is Included in Heating Service Contracts?
contracts are agreements made up between a residential or commercial customer and a company for them to service and maintain or repair various heating equipment. Many of these contracts will specify the terms, the length of service, and the cost. Contracts can range from 1 year to several and will cover various services depending on the situation at the time.
A customer could be given the options
of paying for the service contract annually, however, this is more typical with commercial service contracts, or on a monthly basis, which is more common with residential service contracts. Many of these service contracts will be very specific about the circumstances they will cover and those they will not. It is not unusual for these contracts to cover the replacement of parts for heating systems, in addition to providing some routine maintenance activities, including tune-ups and energy evaluations.
These contracts could specifically exclude replacing certain parts or services which are not deemed routine.
Heating service
contracts can also cover the replacement of parts like fans, transformers, air and oil filters to name but a few, however, may not cover heat exchangers air cleaners etc. Some service contracts offer their customers a 24-hour emergency service.
However, most will limit this emergency service to situations where the customer has no water or heat, and not services which can be repaired at any time. Any necessary routine maintenance will not be made available on a 24-hour basis under this kind of service contract. This kind of emergency provision if more advantageous for commercial customers, whose operations will
depend on an operating heating system. If you would like more information on all our services, please call Triple AAA Heating and Air in Modesto, CA today on (209) 681-7000.
